Position Summary:
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the organization and execution of NOCO Owlz overall off the field needs. This person will be willing to complete the overall management and organization of the team’s needs. This position will be responsible for multiple aspects that are essential for team success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing all clubhouse operations including but not limited to:
- Going to the store/on-site food service to pick up food for pregame spreads-Setting up both clubhouses with clean player uniforms, water, towels, soaps, and pregame spreads.
- Setting up both dugouts with water/Gatorade jugs and cups
- Ensure player equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Rubbing baseballs with mud to the satisfaction of the manager
- Ensure the rosin bag is placed on the mound prior to the game and make sure the on-deck circle is set up with the appropriate equipment.
- Being the primary liaison between the visiting team and Future Legends, including running errands for them if they request anything.
- Remaining in the dugout/clubhouse during the game and being prepared to assist players or coaches with any needs they may have.
- Set up a post-game meal prior to the end of the game including plates and cutlery.
- Collect all the laundry from both teams, including towels.
- Dispose of trash and leftovers from post-game meals and generally clean up the clubhouses so they are ready for the next game.
- Properly store all the equipment and clean the water/Gatorade jugs.
- Drop off the laundry at the laundromat and pick it up prior to the next game.
- Oversee and manage the batboys.
Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions:
- Previous experience in sports industry is strong plus
- Excellent communication with teammates, external parties, and consumers
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be innovative and adapt on the fly
Compensation/Perks:
- Salary: $850-$1,000 monthly + tips
