Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs, the Denver-based hot dog eatery that has been featured on CBS’ The Talk and Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations and can be found at Coors Field, Red Rocks, Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, and Levitt Pavilion, will be opening a Windsor location at the Future Legends Complex in 2023.
The Future Legends restaurant will be the first Biker Jim’s to open in Northern Colorado.
“Future Legends is so fortunate to connect with the Biker Jim’s brand,” said Future Legends Complex managing member Jeff Katofsky. “It is vital to our mission to our fans to provide only the best at our venue. An iconic Colorado dog from Biker Jim’s helps us meet that goal.”
‘Biker Jim’ Pittenger is not your ordinary culinary chef, nor are his restaurants, food carts, concessions, retail products, and catering. Jim and his menu offer any restaurant patron or backyard griller an appetite for grilling exotic game meat. Discovered by famed food critic Anthony Bourdain, you’ll find Biker Jim manning a Denver street cart, serving gourmet dogs across Colorado and Arizona, and soon to be many more areas across the country.
Visitors to the Future Legends Complex will be able to enjoy Biker Jim’s gourmet hot dogs all day long, and with fillings including pork and elk jalapeno cheddar, ostrich, wild boar, rattlesnake and rabbit, bacon cheddar, and a vegan dog, there will be something for everybody.
Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full bar. New menu items will be introduced, and multiple items will be only offered at the Windsor location. Take-out, catering and special events will be happening as early as fall 2022, with additional information announced on Biker Jim’s Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages.
“We are excited to bring a twist to our gourmet dogs to Northern Colorado and be part of the Legends Sports Complex,” said Pittenger. “Our new location at the Future Legends Sports Complex will become our signature location. We are so excited to be a part of the complex and support the sports teams and the youth programs. Being a part of the community is what we are about, so keep an eye out for Biker Jim’s!”
The 118-acre Future Legends Complex will feature two stadiums, multiple baseball diamonds and multi-purpose fields, an indoor sports arena, lodging, and retail; and will host guests for major sports tournaments, events, leagues, and more. Future Legends will also be the host of two professional sports teams: USL League One’s Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, and the Pioneer League’s Northern Colorado Owlz.
