Position Summary: 

The Equipment Manager, also known as the “Kit-man” is responsible for the organization and execution of NOCO Hailstorm’s overall equipment and uniform needs. This person will be willing to travel with the team and execute the overall management and organization of the team’s needs. This position will be responsible for multiple aspects that are essential for compliance of the USL and overall team provisions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the team’s equipment needs and requirements for the season
  • Report Daily to GM and Head Coach
  • Coordinate, manage and order seasonal equipment needs
  • Organize all training, playing, and traveling kits throughout the season.
  • Coordinate ordering of necessary additional kits and gear with Merchandising Department.
  • Coordinate and manage equipment need when traveling
  • Coordinate and manage equipment on match days
  • Manage and organize the locker room and player lounge for the team on match days
  • Maintain and track the correct equipment
  • Clean and organize training gear everyday
  • Manage the preparation of dressing rooms
  • Responsible for all match day equipment
  • Help assist coaching team with daily duties
  • Coordinate planning, ordering, tracking and oversight of equipment needs in off-season and pre-season

Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions: 

  • Previous experience in sports industry is strong plus
  • Must be willing to travel with the team
  • Excellent communication with teammates, external parties, and consumers
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be innovative and adapt on the fly
