Future Legends LLC, located in Windsor, Colorado is the premier destination for sports and events. Opening in Summer 2022, Future Legends will be a state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor multi-sport, training, and events facility that will make a positive impact on the local community and surrounding area as well as nationally. It is designed to host guests for national, regional and local sports tournaments, events, leagues, and more for players and audiences of all ages and skill levels. Position Summary: 

The Director of Ticketing  is responsible for the organization and execution of all ticketed events  for Future Legends Complex ensuring all elements of events, gatherings, bookings, etc. are executed at the highest level. This management level position will effectively organize and run the ticketing department for all entities that are under the Future Legends umbrella. This department leader will be responsible for the training and development of the ticketing team, establishing goals, and providing feedback and growth opportunities. 

Key Areas of Responsibility, Job Metrics and Competencies: 

  • Executing and managing the company’s ticketing and sales strategy and procedures
  • Works with accounting and financial team to compile financial statements and revenue reports of sales
  • Works with the CEO, Executive Director, President of Professional Sports and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the sales process.
  • Developing plans for growth to increase company profit and revenue streams while also reducing expenditure
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns to meet or exceed ticket sales revenue benchmarks in the areas of new season memberships and group events.
  • Create sales revenue projections and operating budgets while ensuring effective control of sales results and taking corrective action to guarantee achievement of objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop and execute comprehensive new sales campaigns that drive awareness and build urgency within the marketplace.
  • Actively support the development of staff members by mentoring, providing direction, and performance feedback.
  • Drive consistent and frequent communication about product offerings and campaigns to staff members across the organization.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business partners, day-to-day contacts, and senior leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions: 

  • Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance required, or related equivalent experience or equivalent training and experience in lieu of degree. (Minimum 3 years will be considered) 
  • A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory, management and/or leadership experience in sports or athletic realm
  • Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work long hours, including overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with diverse staff, tenacious work ethic and strong, written communication skills required. 
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and adapt to change. 
  • Must be able to complete projects and resolve issues expeditiously, independently and with minimal supervision; must be able to show initiative and good judgment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must due to required correspondence in the role. 
  • Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy. 
  • Strong teamwork aptitude required. 
  • Must have the physical ability to work both inside and outside during all seasons of the year and possible extreme weather conditions. 
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in database and sales computer application systems, preferably SAP systems
